A community savings plan is a group of local, like-minded individuals who work as a team to save up their own money while participating in a peer group environment to voluntarily be held accountable to achieve each individual’s savings goals.
The money never leaves the community since it is managed by the members of the savings group. Saving up money and changing habits is hard work. The group encourages each other to achieve more than each person could individually.
Dreams and goals matter! Crusades for Christ embraces empowering people through education and discipleship by developing community savings groups and providing financial teaching and how lives can be changed for generations. This transformation is brought about, not only by the saving of funds, but by teaching Biblical principles concerning money and possessions that will be passed on from generation to generation.
Crusades for Christ also recognizes that the best success is achieved through group efforts. It provides a safe environment for individuals to share their own successes and to promote a healthy accountability for each individual to achieve their personal goals.
